Welcome to my personal web portfolio! I am photographer Nikos Karafas, born in Chania, Crete, in 1978. A few years ago I began my journey in the art of photography as an amateur photographer enchanted by the ability of capturing not only the image and colors, but also the feeling... Over time and powered by my passion, studying and countless hours of experimenting, I decided to go after that magic moment that makes a picture unique, as a full-time freelance professional photographer specialized in portraits. Since 2007 I have been involved in a wide range of photography services and I always strive to deliver the best possible result and satisfy the needs of even the most demanding clients. For me, every collaboration is not just another job; it’s a personal engagement! I own a fully equipped studio with the latest technology in Chania, Crete, and also undertake many different types of photography assignments, such as: Portraits, modeling books, magazine covers, editorials, glamorous, events, product leaflets, brochures, posters, family pictures and weddings. When working at my studio and in order to achieve the best possible result, I collaborate with make-up artists, stylists, hairdressers, and models.
